The award-winning Snake River
Brewpub in Lander is located on Main Street in the newly remodeled Cowfish
Restaurant. The brewery won four national awards in its first year of
operation, and has continued to win awards
each year. Our Rock Chuck Rye has won gold medals in both the Great American
Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup.
While sampling tasty brews
in the stylish pub and inhaling the hoppy aroma of beer-brewing in progress, you
can can enjoy tasty food from the Cowfish menu.
The brewmaster, Paul Granthem, learned his art
from Chris Erickson, former Brewmaster of the Year. If you spot
him stirring his elixir in the copper tanks with his wooden
paddle, checking dials, ask him for a tour of the brewery. You will
be sure to come away with a new appreciation for this beverage with
a thousand-year history,that gives this small town in Wyoming world-class
