"The Lander Bar, a classic Wyoming Saloon where bloody-knuckled
cowboys and climbers, Arapahoe Indians and granola girls in beads and braids,
outcasts, posers, foreigners, and cross country skiers all drink
and dance together." - Outside Magazine
Welcome to the famous Lander Bar. Located in the historic Coalter Block building, built in 1907, the Lander Bar blends drinks, people, and cultures. The decor is an eclectic mix of all things Western: ranching, climbing, mining, hunting, and Native American memorabilia adorn the walls and ceilings. Even more interesting than the decorations are the people.

The Lander Bar is a lively place that can go from subdued to rocking in
no time. In addition to
extensive drink choices, freshly brewed beer from the Snake River Brewpub flows
freely. Live music and dancing fill the place on weekends and celebrations happen throughout
the year. Octoberfest, the International Climbers festival, the Lander Brew festival and the Fourth
of July are incomplete without a visit to the Lander Bar.
The Lander Bar - its not just a bar, it's an experience
