Meet Brew Master Ted Briggs!
All of the microbrews at the Lander Brewing Company are prepared under the direct supervision of Brew Master Ted Briggs, a true beer aficionado with more than a decade of professional experience creating award-winning brews for restaurants, bars, breweries and brew pubs across the country.
Over the years, several of his beer recipes have won awards at global, national and local festivals and contests, including a World Beer Cup award for one brew and a “Best Beer in Atlantic City, (New Jersey)” award for another.
As the year-round brew master at the Lander Brewing Company, Ted is introducing his own beer recipes, as well as overseeing award-winning, legacy recipes at the brewery.
In 2004, the recipe for Rock Chuck Rye was awarded a gold medal at the World Beer Cup. It has won several other awards since then, including a gold medal from the Great American Beer Festival.
In 2008, the recipe for On Belay IPA was awarded a silver medal at the World Beer Cup.
Ted holds a diploma in Brewing Science and Engineering from the American Brewers Guild, and is a member of the Association of Brewers and the Master Brewers Association of the Americas.
